Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 August 2026

These terms govern use of TrainGrid (traingrid.com.au), including websites, dashboards, public booking pages, APIs, and related mobile apps. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

1. The service

TrainGrid provides scheduling, booking, attendance, and payment tools for studios and their customers. Features may change as we improve the product. Platform subscription billing (monthly SaaS fee) may be introduced or invoiced separately; booking take-rates, where configured, are collected via Stripe application fees on paid checkouts.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure.
  • Owner/admin accounts are responsible for staff access and for data entered about clients.
  • You must have authority to operate the studio you onboard and to collect payment for bookings.

3. Payments (Stripe Connect)

Paid bookings use Stripe Connect. Money for sessions is paid to the connected Stripe account of the studio. TrainGrid may collect a platform application fee on bookings as disclosed in your plan or dashboard settings. Stripe’s terms also apply. Refunds and chargebacks are handled according to your Stripe settings and applicable law; you remain responsible for your customer relationships.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service (including attempting to bypass security, scrape without permission, spam, or process unlawful transactions). We may suspend accounts that create risk to the platform or other users.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of your business data. You grant us a licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

6. Availability and disclaimer

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, the service is provided “as is” and we exclude implied warranties that can be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes non-excludable consumer guarantees.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrainGrid’s aggregate liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for that period (or AUD $100 if none). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data, except where liability cannot be limited.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach or risk. On termination, export of your data may be available for a reasonable period on request.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts of NSW have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
